Do You Have What It Takes To Join The Gorilla Patrol?
The Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America is looking for a few good Scouts, leaders, parents, alumni – just about anyone who loves Scouting, to earn their right to join the Gorilla Patrol! The goal is to encourage “Random Acts of Scouting” across the southern coast of California that promote the Scouting program.
WHAT IS THE GORILLA PATROL
The Gorilla Patrol is a marketing program designed to provide everyone the opportunity to show that Scouting is as fun and exciting.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE GORILLA PATROL
Any youth or adult who wishes to participate in “Random Acts of Scouting” to promote Scouting may join the Gorilla Patrol.
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO JOINING THE GORILLA PATROL
No, you may join at any time. There is no expiration to joining. Start your mission today!
CAN I EARN MORE THAN ONE GORILLA PATROL PATCH
No, you may only earn one Gorilla Patrol patch.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO EARN THE GORILLA PATROL PATCH

Create your idea for “your” unique marketing activity, also known as a “Random Act of Scouting” to promote Scouting. Others may help you plan and can support your marketing activity

Execute your Gorilla Patrol Mission – to conduct a “Random Act of Scouting”. If you are a youth, please have an adult leader sign off on your project prior to executing

Document the success of your Gorilla Patrol Mission by taking a photograph and sharing to communication@ocbsa.org with your Mission Summary form

Complete the official Gorilla Patrol Mission Summary form found below. While executing your Gorilla Patrol Mission, remember to adhere to all the points of the Scout Law
